Halloween Sun Catcher from plastic jugs- happy hooligans
Recycle a plastic jug into an adorable Halloween sun catcher. All you need is a plastic container and some Sharpie Markers.
Today’s easy Halloween craft is quick and easy, which is great for really young children who don’t have the attention span to craft for too long. You can do this craft at any time of year – just change up the shape to make a sun-catcher to suit whatever theme you’re focusing on.
All you need for this easy craft is an opaque plastic container and some permanent markers.
I always have a bunch of empty vinegar containers on hand because they’re great for crafting with. Milk jugs can also be good for this kind of thing.

What you’ll need to make your Halloween sun catcher:
We used Sharpies, but crayons or gel paints would work well too.
Colouring on a plastic surface like this one is somewhat different than colouring on paper. The markers glide around on the plastic and colour quality of the markers is brighter and quite, translucent.
Providing materials that are different than the ones your child normally gets creative with will add interest and enrich the creative process for your child.
