Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Dip – Happy Hooligans
This chocolate chip pumpkin dip is made with real pumpkin, chocolate chips, cream cheese and fall spices. It’s a delicious, sweet dip for pretzels, biscotti, graham crackers and cookies. It’s a great treat for after school, Halloween parties or fall entertaining.

I’m the pumpkin latte, pumpkin cheesecake, and of course, pumpkin pie girl. I even love to dig into pumpkin pie turnovers — you should definitely try them! Life can get busy, and I only have so many hours to whip up a dee-lish pumpkin recipe, but I always have time to make this easy-peasy, pumpkin dip!
I also love making this simple dip for my family. They can grab just about anything and start dipping. We use pretzels, cookies, biscotti — anything crunchy, sweet or salty.
In fact, this recipe is so easy to put together, you may want to send it to a neighbor or close friend who needs a little something extra to make them smile. Eveyone loves a homemade, yummy “I’m thinking of you” gift sometimes.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Dip Recipe:
Yields: 24 servings
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. spreadable cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- With electric mixer, cream together cream cheese, powdered sugar and sour cream until smooth.
- Add remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips, and continue to blend until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
