Easy Bacon-wrapped Green Beans – Happy Hooligans

These Bacon-Wrapped Green Beans are the perfect side-dish for your Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. They’re easy to make and sure to please.

I still remember when I first tried this wonderful dish. We were at a friend’s house and they were serving their “best of the best” recipes for our family. And of course, these gorgeous, crunchy green beans were included.

These bacon-wrapped beans were placed on the adult serving table, but the kids couldn’t resist them. I think the bacon was calling their names — and they overhead there was brown sugar involved. After that, there was no looking back!

Do you ever struggle to get your kids to eat veggies, or even to fit them into your own diet? So many appetizers and side dishes are lacking in the veggie department. That’s why I love bacon-wrapped green beans. Not only are they dee-lish, but I know my family and guests are getting a fresh serving of greens when they eat them.

They stay crunchy!

Another yummy aspect when it comes to this dish is that the green beans don’t lose their crunch!  That fresh CRUNCH, along with the sweetness of the brown sugar and the saltiness of the bacon all collides to create beautiful music in your mouth, in just a few bites.

One bit of advice — make sure you make plenty for everyone. These will disappear FAST!
